Tree Trimming

• Crown Cleaning – Removal of dead, dying, crowded, poorly attached branches from the tree canopy.
• Crown Raising – Removes the lower branches to raise the crown of the tree for vehicles, pedestrians and views.
• Crown Thinning – Removal of selective branches to reduce wind resistance and increase air and light penetration into the centre of the tree. Reduces end weight on branches to reduce risk of breakage in high winds.
• Crown Reduction – Reduces the canopy of the tree by pruning back to lateral branches. This technique is used only if removal is not an option.
